I am a Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist in Hong Kong. May I have your
assistance on the captioned orthosis. I’ve got a patient with a stress
fracture on her mid tibial shaft. She is a athlete suffering from this
fracture for almost a year. She stopped vigorous exercise recently
waiting for the heal up. Her surgeon told me that he had read from an
article sometime ago talking about an air-orthosis for this kind of
fracture. Unfortunately he forgot most part of the article. I have no
idea on the orthosis: function, effectiveness, indications and
contra-indications, where to buy etc.. Your assistance is much
appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.
