New times – a “new” approach to O&P manufacturing

Dear colleagues:

I have applied for a presentation under the title mentioned above at the

“Orthopädie und Reha-Technik International” in Germany next year.

I would like to present the approach of central fabrication including

numbers, possibly addresses (if not too many) and results and/or opinions to

central fabrication.

I am looking into the whole field including pedorthics, orthotics,

prosthetics, seating and specialized applications (burn masks etc.).

Anyone active in this approach (no matter if using CAD or a more conventional

approach, no matter if a provider of central fabrication or a user of such

services, no matter if happy or dis-satisfied) is invited to participate in

providing information.

I will present my findings in English on this line at a later date.

I look forward to receiving a ton of answers.

Thank you in advance and

Yours sincerely,

Wieland Kaphingst, B.Sc. Eng. (BMT), CPO (D)
