Dear list,
The US Politics: Consolidation issue has a definite end point. That is
August 20, 1999 when all of the ballots are due in. Please use your delete
key often if necessary.
It has been said that this is the last time we will ever hear about
consolidation in the US. If it goes through, then there you have it. If it
doesn’t, I don’t think we will ever have to hear about it again because it
will be apparent that people did not agree it was the right direction to go.
There are 25 more days to go. If you are from another country, remember
that this forum is open for your use as well in the future if an issue
surfaces that will have a dramatic affect on your profession. There is no
more need to debate the appropriateness issue anymore because a precedent
has been set- this is a neutral forum where professionals from around the
globe can communicate openly with each other on professional and clinical
issues in an intellectual and respectable manner.
