My name is Sören, I am an CPO in Jönköping, Sweden.
At the moment I am finishing prostheses, for a girl of 12 years old (hip disarticulated) and a young woman age 25 and (transpelvic amputated).
Both the girls whish to anticipate in horseback riding. I wonder if anyone could provide me with links, addresses or any idea that could lead to information in this subject. My major concern is in the fixation of the girls in the saddle. I wonder if the girls’ should use their prosthesis while riding, or I should build a seat that only can be used while riding.
