Tony,All of my employees are private contractors. It cuts way down on accounting
expenses and I don’t have to pay unemployment. Technically, they don’t work for
me but themselves. The only downside was when we wanted to get a group insurance
policy. We needed to form a subchapter “S” corporation. $150.00 (US)
This is becoming the rage all over the country. Employees are being terminated
then hired back as “Consultants” and independent contract labor. The best thing
to do is to consult your accountant.
