Re: hinged forearm crutch

Larisa

Would it be possible to cut the cuff in the middle and join the two pieces

together with a spring-loaded hinge? I would think that any good machine

shop would be able to handle that.

:I am looking for a hinged cuff on a forearm crutch. My crutch has a “one-size-fits-all” cuff that is fine if all I wear is a short sleeve blouse (or even light long sleeved shirt). However, I cannot fit any size coat into it. Any ideas? I’ve stumped all my PTs…
