I am happy to see discussion on this topic. I agree, primarily by the seat of

my pants, with Chris’ assessment. In my opinion, it’s not how much carbon or

glass fiber you have incorporated in a structural design, but rather how many

thin strategically placed layers or strips of carbon/glass are incorporated

and how much “glue” you have in between the carbon/glass to lock the matrix

together. In my mind, it would also be important as to which direction and to

what degree fibers are running, relative to the magnitude and motion or force

that is being resisted.
