The Barr Foundation,a non profit orgainization dedicted to the amputee,is proud to announce that Jack Richmond and Kim Doolan have been unamiously elected as board directors.
Jack Richmond is past president of The United Amputee Services Association(UASA) and co-founder of the Barr United Amputee Assistance Fund(BUAAF).He is presently Marketing Manager for Springlite of Salt Lake City,Utah.
Kim Doolan,presently Marketing Co-Ordinator of Motion Control Division,manufacturers of the Utah Artificial Arm, is a past board member of The American Board of Certification(ABC), and present Board member of the Amputee Coalition of America(ACA)
and A Child’s Reach,a amputee support group for children.
” Both ,Kim and Jack,are amputees who have spread the word about prosthetic excellence and improved technology.
They will bring invaluable perspectives to issues facing amputee rehabilitation and consumer advocacy.They join in the Foundation’s vision to become the national leader of alternative prosthetic funding, and contributor to international humanatarian efforts to make it possible for amputees worldwide,to become Whole Again”.
