angela sarnac

We were looking for any info on Ischial containment KAFO’s.

We were presented with a 35 year old male who has bone cancer. He has

had surgery to remove several places in his hip. He has no trochanter,

no acetabulum and has had the proximal third of his femur removed. He

also has no illiac crest. We are looking for info from

anyone who has worked with this type of patient or who has any tips for

ischial containment KAFO. Thanks
