Hello,
I am trying to put together a protocol for fitting new amputees with prostheses or some device soon after amputation. My question for the group is how early have you fit new amputees with devices, what device was it (prep prosthesis, ipop, etc), and how successful was it?
In general, I am looking so see how successful were clinicians in fitting patients as early as possible so that I can have a gauge as to a reasonable time frame for fitting patients. As well as seeing if anyone has done any creative ways to fit patients very recently after amputation.
