*Our team is seeking assistance in advertising an IRB approved online
research study for people who use lower limb prostheses. *
*WHAT: *The study is looking to validate measures to quantify activity
avoidance due to fear of falling in prosthetic users. The study requires
participants to complete an online survey that takes 25-45 minutes, and
they receive $15 for their time. The study is open to nearly any
person with BKA or AKA (unilateral or bilateral) who is K2-K4 level.
*HOW YOU CAN HELP:* If you are a provider of prosthetic care and would be
willing to post a study flyer in your clinic, please contact me directly
and I will email you an electronic flyer for posting (please put O & P
flyer in the subject line). If you are a prosthetic user yourself and
would like to participate, please also contact me directly (put O &P
study in the subject line). If you have suggestions for other ways for
increasing study awareness, please feel free to reach out as well.
