C-Leg® Microprocessor Knee and Helix 3D Hip Training

First day covers ordering, assembling, programming, training the patient, and maintaining the C-Leg® microprocessor knee. 7.5 ABC CEUs. Second day covers successful fitting and therapy for Helix 3D Hip. 8.5 ABC CEUs. Each day can be taken separately or together. Deadline to register: November 13.

A Systems Approach to Vacuum Fitting: The Harmony System

Designed for certified or eligible prosthetists, the course focuses on sub-atmospheric TT socket technology, including limb shape morphology, performance of commonly used gel liners, optimal socket considerations, creation of sub-atmospheric pressure, and common fitting issues. 6.75 ABC CEUs. Registration deadline is three weeks before course date.

Fundamentals of Prosthetics Fabrication

Designed for technicians with less than three years of experience, course covers basic techniques including layup and laminations, flexible liner and rigid frame fabrication, thermoforming sockets and shaping foam covers, appropriate use of common materials, and bench alignment procedures for TT and TF designs.14.5 ABC CEUs. Registration deadline is three weeks prior to course date.

Lower-Limb MPK Technology

The latest technology for TF and HD patients. Course covers alignment, programming, and training users to maximize results with the Compact, C-Leg, and Genium. Advanced techniques for fitting bilateral TF and hip-disarticulation users, including the Helix 3D Hip System, will also be included. CEUs: TBD. Comprehensive Upper Limb Management

Designed for experienced practitioners who manage upper-limb patients, this course is an overview of Ottobock component selection criteria for externally powered options for transradial, transhumeral, and shoulder disarticulation levels.
