Of those who responded to our question about their favorite TV genre, 39 percent said true crime dramas, 30 percent said classic sitcoms, 17 percent said reality TV, and 13 percent had other favorites.
One follower said, “Documentaries all day.” Another response came from Andrea Spridgen, editor in chief of The O&P EDGE. We know she likes all things Christmas—so why wouldn’t her guilty TV genre be anything but Christmas?!
“Cheesy Christmas movies,” she wrote. “Yep, even in July.” Good for you, Andrea! It’s never too early for a little Christmas cheer! (If you’re like this writer, you’ll tune in to watch sports of all kinds and documentaries, especially about Mount Everest. And I have always been interested in documentaries and shows regarding the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine in April 1986. Did anyone see historical drama miniseries several years ago that revolved around the Chernobyl disaster and the cleanup efforts that followed? It was a great show, very haunting, especially the endings.)
Last week we highlighted a post from our EDGE Advantage Sifted newsletter by Scott Williamson on the importance of truth and active listening when it comes to patient care. Our question: How does active listening affect your interactions with your patients?
55 percent said active listening helps build trust and rapport, 27 percent said it supports an honest and open dialogue, 9 percent said active listening helps foster emotional connections with patients, and 9 percent said it helps lessen misunderstandings.
This week, we’re asking our followers about planning for the coming year. What? Already?! Yes, it’ll be here before you know it. Our question this week asks what steps you can take to keep your business successful in 2026?
So far, investing in current employees is the top vote getter.
Tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
