WillowWood, Mount Sterling, Ohio, named Jairo Blumenthal, CPO, as managing director, international markets. His focus will be business development and sales acceleration in markets outside of the United States.
Jairo has more than 25 years of experience in international markets as well as being an entrepreneur, specializing in prosthetic clinics and O&P channel development. He worked at Össur, Reykjavík, Iceland,
for more than 20 years, both in Europe and in Latin America. His previous role was vice president of sales and marketing for Latin America. He sold his O&P businesses in Brazil to Össur in 2013.
“Jairo has been working with the WillowWood team for the past six months in an advisory capacity and has already identified significant opportunities with a strong plan to drive international expansion. He will be a major addition to the commercial leadership team as we seek to realize WillowWood’s true potential,” said Otto Fernandez, WillowWood’s chief commercial officer.
