Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics Inc., Gettysburg,
Pennsylvania, announced that Wendy A. Carter, CFOM, has received
her orthotic fitter and mastectomy certifications from the American
Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics
Inc. (ABC). Carter, also a registered nurse, began working at
Ability in October 2005 performing office administrative duties in
the Hagerstown patient care facility. As the practice grew and
under the tutelage of Jeffrey T. Quelet, CPO, Carter began pursuing
the ABC fitter certifications in both orthotics and mastectomy.
