Convicted Medicare defrauder Gustavo Smith, the former owner of
Orthotics Fitters, Miami, and Medstar Services, Miami, has escaped
from home confinement with electronic monitoring and fled the
country following his sentencing, according to FDAnews.com. A
warrant has been issued for his arrest.
