Ottobock, Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced the new hire of Tom Kuelbs as market manager for orthotics and the promotion of Adam McPherson to U.S. market manager for the company’s microprocessor knee product area.
In his new position, Kuelbs will develop, implement, and manage the orthotics business plan with a special focus on the new Orthotronics Mobility System C-Brace®.
Kuelbs most recently worked as an independent business consultant in medical marketing/sales plan development and implementation. He has a master’s of business administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Minneapolis.
“Tom will be supporting Ottobock’s commitment to bringing innovation and value to orthotics, specifically in the O&P channel,” said Peter Nohre, director of marketing, technical orthopedics and mobility solutions for Ottobock. “He comes to us with a strong background in medical-device marketing and business plan development and we are excited to have him as part of our team.”
McPherson has been with Ottobock since 2008. In his prior position, he was the orthotics market manager for the company.
