The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) released its first webcast of the year. In the webcast, Peter Thomas, JD, and George Breece, NAAOP executive director, welcomed NAAOP’s incoming president for 2022 and discussed the Medicare O&P Patient Centered Care Act, which NAAOP hopes will be approved by Congress this year. Maggie Baumer, JD, NAAOP president, wished everyone a happy new year and said she looks forward to working with the O&P community as well as working to help advance the Patient Centered Care Act through the legislative process this year.
NAAOP is encouraging everyone in O&P to email their representatives and ask them to cosponsor this bill.
