Curbell Plastics announced the retirement of Jeff Wilson, senior business development manager. Wilson will retire in March, concluding a career spanning more than 30 years in plastics and nearly three decades with Curbell Plastics.
Wilson is recognized across the O&P community as an authority on the use of performance plastics in device fabrication, with expertise grounded in more than a decade supporting engineering plastics customers across diverse industries, followed by 14 years leading Curbell’s O&P business, the announcement said.
“Jeff’s impact on the O&P industry and on Curbell Plastics cannot be overstated,” said Keith Hechtel, vice president of business development and marketing. “His technical expertise, passion for education, and deep respect for O&P clinicians helped elevate how materials are selected and applied to improve patient outcomes.”
During his tenure, Wilson helped introduce OP-TEK Flex Comfort, BiLam, and ProComp carbon-reinforced polypropylene.
“I really like the O&P market,” Wilson said. “Knowing that the materials we provide help people walk, regain abilities, and live more active lives has made this work deeply fulfilling.”
Scott Moore has been appointed as Wilson’s successor. He brings more than 20 years of experience in plastics distribution, manufacturing, and O&P. He joined Curbell Plastics in 2017 as senior regional sales manager III.
“Scott’s technical depth and customer-first mindset make him well suited to lead Curbell O&P into its next chapter,” Hechtel said. “He understands both the clinical and technical demands of O&P and shares Jeff’s commitment to the community.”
