R.J. Rosenberg Orthopedic Lab, Ohio, hosted its annual free Adaptive Golf Clinic on May 15 at Meadow Links Golf Course & Academy at Winton Woods. Held in partnership with The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation, the event introduced participants to golf in an encouraging, inclusive setting.
The clinic was open to people with physical disabilities of all experience levels, whether they walked or used a wheelchair, as well as physical and recreational therapists, rehabilitation professionals, golf instructors, caregivers, family members, and anyone interested in learning more about adaptive golf techniques and equipment.
Specially trained golf professionals provided instruction tailored to individuals with physical disabilities, and adaptive clubs, aids, and equipment were available for participants to try.
“Hosting this event each year is truly an honor,” said Ryan Spill, CP. “We love seeing people of all abilities try something new, gain confidence, and make connections through the game of golf.”
