The Orthotic and Prosthetic Foundation for Education and Research (The Foundation) has partnered with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) to provide scholarships to O&P students.
The ABC Orthotist and Prosthetist Scholarship includes a $10,000 cash award. Up to ten scholarships are awarded annually. The application deadline is September 29.
To be eligible, the applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in an O&P master’s degree program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and meet the following criteria:
- Completed at least two semesters or three quarters of a CAAHEP-accredited orthotist/prosthetist program with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need
- Applicant must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident
