In partnership with The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research, the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) congratulated the recipients of the inaugural 2023 ABC O&P Technician Scholarships and Scholarships for O&P Technician Diversity.
The ABC O&P Technician Scholarships were established to foster the academic advancement of up to eight O&P technician students annually. The ABC Scholarships for O&P Technician Diversity were introduced to support the academic excellence of up to two students from racially or ethnically underrepresented backgrounds in the O&P profession each year. Each recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
ABC said it is “thrilled to recognize and support the outstanding achievements of these deserving scholarship recipients and looks forward to witnessing their continued success as they contribute to the advancement of this vital profession.”
