The American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics (the Academy) has moved its headquarters from Washington DC to Bethesda, Maryland, effective March 1.
The relocation to the heart of downtown Bethesda will place the new Academy headquarters near the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Walter Reed National Military Center. “The relocation is a sound financial decision for the organization. It will afford the Academy the opportunity to invest more resources in the Academy pillars of research, education, membership, and advocacy,” said Chellie Hollis Blondes, Academy executive director.
The new Academy office is fully accessible, and the new address is 7910 Woodmont Avenue, Suite 760, Bethesda, MD 20814. Phone and fax numbers will remain the same.
