The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) Public Policy Committee created a centralized resource related to Medicare coding changes that may affect reimbursement for O&P devices. The document, which can be downloaded, includes a chart outlining all new and revised codes, descriptions, fees, and activation dates.
The Academy suggested that suppliers ensure their contracts are updated to reflect the new codes and revised language.
