Adapttech, Birmingham, United Kingdom, hired two employees to boost its presence in the United States and provide support to US-based prosthetic patient care practices and university research partners. The positions are US-based and designed to provide multiple layers of full-time support for Adapttech customers.
John Braddock is the US director of sales. Braddock has extensive O&P experience in various leadership roles, including at Blatchford, iWalk, and Össur. He will provide face-to-face sales and support to US Adapttech technology users.
Derek Inserra, CPO, is the US clinical specialist. He attended the University of Texas Southwestern for his O&P education and has spent the past seven years in O&P patient care. Inserra will conduct training and provide support to practitioners using INSIGHT Systems.
“Expanding our sales and clinical teams in the US is key step toward making Adapttech technologies intergral to caring for amputees and improving patient outcomes,” said Frederico Carpinteiro, CEO. “We were extremely excited to find two experienced O&P professionals who fit so neatly with Adapttech’s company culture. Derek and John will be on-point for US clinicians who want to learn more about what is really going on in a prosthetic socket as an amputee goes about their daily activities.”
