Agile Orthopedics, Denver, a mobile O&P rehabilitation provider, announced the acquisition of the Prosthetic Orthotic Group – Southern Colorado. The acquisition of the medical practice marks Agile’s first-ever expansion into a facility, laying the groundwork for a blended practice with the capabilities of servicing patients at home and in office in Pueblo and Southern Colorado, according to Eric Neufeld, CPO, FAAOP, CEO and founder of Agile Orthopedics.
The strategic acquisition supports Agile’s mission to provide Colorado’s disability community with access to comprehensive care. The investment will expand Agile’s rehabilitative services to treat more patients as the Prosthetic & Orthotic Group clinicians are trained specialists primarily delivering care in offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
“We’ve developed a longstanding relationship with the owners of Prosthetic & Orthotic Group and are familiar with the practice and community they serve, making this a seamless transition. We founded Agile to increase the level of access patients had to receiving care, and are particularly excited about the group’s on-site manufacturing, which will provide us with the resources to serve an even larger base of patients,” Neufeld said.
Founded in 2017, Agile has grown more than 50 percent each year in patients treated and now serves Denver, Colorado Springs, Northern Colorado, and the mountains.
