The Amputee Coalition named its 2024 board of director’s roster.
William Passig Perno, MBA, FACHE, will serve as the incoming board chair. He is entering his seventh year with the Amputee Coalition, has an expertise in healthcare strategy, healthcare payment innovation, and operational management.
Other executive committee members include R. Carter Wood III, CPA, chief financial officer for Copper River Shared Services, treasurer; and David S. Sanders, partner at Foley & Lardner LLP, secretary.
Continuing members are John Register, immediate past chair, a two-time Paralympian and Paralympic Games silver medalist and chief executive officer of Inspired Communications International; and Carrie Davis, vice president of patient and employee experience for Hanger Clinic.
The board also named four new board members: Foluso Fakorede, MD, CEO, Cardiovascular Solutions of Central Mississippi and Fusion Vascular; Ron Barabas, director, legal counsel, Sports for Warner Bros. Discovery; Danielle Melton, MD, director of Amputation Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine; and Michael Fillauer, CPO, president and CEO, Fillauer.
