Ronald Stevenson LeFors, CPO, Hanger Clinic, Texarkana, Texas, passed away December 13, 2023.
LeFors was born September 6, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas. He declined a West Point scholarship to attend the University of Notre Dame where he once interviewed author Kurt Vonnegaut.
In 1970, LeFors received his associate’s degree in orthotics from Cerritos College, the start of a half-century career in orthotics, prosthetics, and pedorthics. LeFors ran his own O&P practice for over two decades and spent the last seven years at the Hanger Clinic working with his son, David LeFors, CPO.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia (Spencer) LeFors, two sisters, seven sons, thirteen grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
