Jack Richmond, CPOA, CFo, was featured on the April 19 National Public Radio (NPR) Morning Edition show as a StoryCorps interview, “Losing a Leg, But Gaining a Sense of Purpose.” StoryCorps is a nonprofit association that provides opportunities for people to “record, share, and preserve” life stories, according to its website. Richmond shared the story of the 1987 accident that led to his transtibial amputation with his daughter, Reagan, who was an infant at the time of his accident. Richmond also discussed his mentoring and peer support of others with amputations. Richmond is the director of sales for Fillauer Companies, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
