Medequip, headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, added Medequip Orthotics & Prosthetics to its Avon, Colorado, location, bringing the only full-time O&P service to Eagle and Summit counties. Drew Meyer, CPO, is the location’s manager.
Medequip is a provider of orthopedic bracing services, cryotherapy treatments, ambulatory aid, and other post-operative equipment. The expanded facility includes patient examination rooms, scanning and customization software for 3D-printing technology, gait analysis, and an O&P lab. The company also offers a mobile service for patients with limited mobility.
“Drew is an ideal addition to our team. As an experienced certified orthotics and prosthetics specialist, and a biomedical engineer, Drew delivers a level of expertise not previously available in the area,” Medequip President Soren Lind told Vail Daily.
