A group of orthotists in Quebec, Canada, is expanding to include the provision of services in sleep care. Équilibre, a network of 70 orthotic clinics and points of service in Quebec, and part of orthopedics company Ergoresearch, Montreal, Canada, will use the sleep care services to build on multidisciplinary offerings from orthotists-prosthetists, kinesiologists, and physical rehabilitation therapists.
“Sleep disturbances affect more than 10 percent of the general population and remain underdiagnosed. We’ve identified an underserved need, which we believe will be an important source of growth,” said Sylvain Boucher, president and CEO.
