Click Medical will award a scholarship to send one individual to a Range of Motion Project (ROMP) volunteer clinic in 2023. Women in O&P are especially encouraged to apply. Students must identify as a female and be O&P master’s degree students, currently either enrolled in school, completing a residency, or graduated within the 2022 calendar year. Applications are due by February 24.
The scholarship winner will be able to choose from any of ROMP’s open volunteer programs in Guatemala or Ecuador in 2023, including:
- March 24-April 2, Ecuador Clinical (ROMP needs more volunteers)
- April 14-23, Guatemala Clinical
- July 7-16, Ecuador Clinical
- July 21-30, Guatemala Clinical
- October 13-22, Guatemala Clinical
- November 10-19, Ecuador Clinical
The trip is a hands-on, week-long session with a chance of using Click Medical adjustable socket technology. Alongside the ROMP team, the scholarship winner will work with prosthetists in Ecuador and Guatemala, serving local patients with amputations who need prosthetic care through ROMP.
