The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the Medicare durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) fee schedule for 2019, effective for Medicare claims with a service date on or after January 1. The 2019 Medicare fee schedule for O&P services will increase by 2.3 percent over 2018 rates, according to the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA).
The fee schedule for O&P services increased by 1.1 percent from 2017 to 2018.
