The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that finalized policy changes for Medicare payments under the Physician Fee Schedule, and other Medicare Part B issues, effective January 1, 2027. Most physicians will see a 2.31 percent conversion factor cut, which is greater than CMS proposed in July.
