Emily Nelson, CPO, COF, completed her orthotics residency at Winkley Orthotics & Prosthetics.
Nelson started her 18-month residency in 2021. She has worked as a fitter and O&P assistant at Winkley’s Cambridge, Minnesota, location since 2018.
Nelson attended Concordia University, Century College, where she received a Master of Science in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Her professional focus is diabetic shoes and foot orthotics, and she is also interested in working with children and veterans.
“What helps me continue and gives me fulfillment is when patients truly appreciate you for what you do and knowing you made a difference in their life,” Nelson said.
