Marlies Cabell, CPO, Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Frederick, Maryland, will receive one of the 2018 Leading Women Awards, which recognize the career accomplishments of women who are under 40 years old.
The awards have been given by The Daily Record newspaper in Baltimore since 2010. The 2018 awards will be presented to 52 women on December 3 at a reception and dinner at the Westin Annapolis in Annapolis.
Earlier this year, Cabell was also credentialed and certified to provide the Wood Cheneau Rigo (WCR) spinal bracing to correct adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. She is the eighth certified clinician and the first woman in the United States to complete the training and receive certification from Grant Wood, MSc, CO, cofounder of Align Clinic, San Mateo, California.
