Two CPOs are soliciting survey responses on topics that address socket lamination and collaborating with occupational and physical therapists.
Joanna Kenton, CPO/L, FAAOP, will present “Blood in Custom Laminated Sockets: More Than Just a Freckle?” at the 2018 American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association National Assembly, being held September 26-29. Part of her presentation will be to evaluate technician quality control trends and best practices regarding lamination. Prosthetists who laminate regularly are needed to complete a four-minute survey.
The survey is anonymous, and the deadline is September 7. To complete the survey, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/Prosthetic_QC_survey.
Greg Armstrong, CPO/L, is seeking input regarding prosthetists’ and orthotists’ collaboration with occupational and physical therapists. The responses will be used in the development of educational materials designed to improve communication and relationships for interdisciplinary patient care.
The survey, which should take less than ten minutes to complete, can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2WMZ5NY.
