A native Californian, David Dage, CPA, CTP, started his O&P career shortly after graduating from high school. He now lives in New Hampshire, where he likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible, hiking in the mountains and appreciating the seasons. Dage developed the practitioner assistant role at Next Step Bionics & Prosthetics, Manchester, New Hampshire, where he’s worked since 2001. He says that “most technicians tend to have an artistic and/or mechanical skills background and have the ability to wear other hats within the industry,” and employers should tap into those skills for the betterment of the company and the employee.
