Ekso Bionics Holdings, Richmond, California, has reported preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter (4Q) and for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018.
Total revenue for the fourth quarter of 2018 is an estimated $3.3 million, reflecting year-over-year growth of 32 percent compared to total revenue of $2.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2017. Total revenue for the fourth quarter of 2018 includes about $2.4 million in medical revenue.
Total revenue for fiscal year 2018 is estimated to be approximately $11.3 million, compared to $7.4 million in 2017, which reflects an estimated year-over-year growth of 52 percent.
The company shipped 25 EksoGT systems in the fourth quarter ended December 31. Fourteen were new sales, 11 were new rentals and one previously rented unit was converted to a sale.
Ekso Bionics expects to report complete fourth quarter and full year 2018 financial results the last week of February.
