Embla Medical appointed André Rocha as its new executive vice president of research and development (R&D).
Rocha served as a partner at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company for the last 13 years and has 25 years of experience across all levels of organizations. His career also includes several R&D roles at Nokia, and he has led teams across a range of geographies and cultures, including the Nordics, Iberia, Germany, the United States, India, and Japan.
Rocha holds a master’s degree in business administration from the European School of Management and Technology, a master’s in economics, and a bachelor’s in electrical and computer engineering, both from the University of Porto.
