For the second consecutive year, Embla Medical was named one of the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2026 by TIME magazine.
The Iceland-based company ranked 63rd overall and sixth within the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Medical Technology sector, with a score of 88.88/100. Last year, the company ranked 41st and the third highest in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Medical Technology category.
The ranking, developed by TIME and Statista, a data analytics platform, named 500 companies pairing growth with environmental stewardship. The survey evaluated companies that disclosed their environmental data transparently and scored them according to their revenue growth, financial stability, as well as environmental impact.
“This recognition reflects our continued commitment to being Responsible for Tomorrow, understanding that the decisions and actions we take today help shape a better future for generations to come,” the company said on LinkedIn.
