For the eighth consecutive year, Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and students in EMU’s O&P master’s program hosted three OPAF First Clinics. More than 60 attendees, many coming for the first time, experienced adaptive scuba, swimming, and kayaking at First Dive, First Swim, and First Paddle Clinics on the EMU campus in Ypsilanti.

Instruction was provided by Capital City Scuba, the EMU Down River Paddler, and OPAF First Swim instructors Rob Hendry and Stephanie Miner, CPO.
The event was sponsored by the University of Michigan O&P Center. Sponsors assisted with volunteers, refreshments, and swim goggles, and included Ropp Orthopedics, Commerce Charter Township, Michigan; Anew Life, Detroit; and College Park Industries, Warren, Michigan.
