Eqwal, a France-based healthcare and global O&P provider, acquired Orthopédie-R. Huguenin & Fils into the Eqwal patient care Switzerland division.
The integration will help consolidate expertise, pool skills, and open new growth opportunities, and marks further progress in the development and strengthening of Eqwal’s activities in Switzerland, the company said.
Orthopédie-R. Huguenin & Fils was founded in 1955 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and specializes in orthopedic insoles and off-the-shelf orthopedic footwear; it was acquired in 2019 by Nicolas Siegenthaler.
