Fillauer, Chattanooga, Tennessee, received the 2018 Spirit of Innovation Award from the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce for the design and execution of the NEXO upper-limb prosthesis system. The awards honor businesses that originated in the region and have potential to impact many people and inspire change. A volunteer-led committee of community business and tech leaders selected the finalists and the recipient.
