Infinity Orthotics and Prosthetics, Panama City, Florida, has reopened after being damaged by Hurricane Michael, a Category 5 storm in October 2018.
Kip Hicks, CPO/L, and founder of Infinity O&P told WMMB News13, a local television station, the business had to move a new location in Panama City at 2581 Huntcliff Lane.
One of the biggest difficulties Infinity faced has been notifying the community it was still open for business, Hicks told the television station. “It was hard to get the word back out to the community we were still open. While it was not fully operational, we did want to take care of the patients but it was hard to contact them…. That’s the biggest obstacle we found after Michael is just losing touch with people who wanted and needed care.”
