Hanger announced its 12th annual Partner Awards, honoring four companies that provide products and services that help to advance the O&P field and improve patient care and outcomes. Recipients are selected by members of Hanger’s clinical and operational teams.
Ottobock was selected for the inaugural Clinical Evidence Award, which recognizes a partner that made a meaningful contribution through evidence-based published research. In its recent collaboration with the Hanger Institute for Clinical Research and Education, Ottobock measured the impact of microprocessor KAFOs among users of lower-limb orthoses and MPKs in the K2 population.
Infinite Biomedical Technologies earned the Collaboration Award, which is granted to a partner that made outstanding contributions resulting in shared success. Infinite was recognized for partnering with Hanger on the creation of grants and clinical trials throughout their development of the Glide platform.
WillowWood was given the Innovation Award, which recognizes companies that exhibit expansive thinking in product innovation and technology, resulting in positive clinical outcomes. WillowWood was selected because of its META Flow foot.
College Park received the Operational Performance Award, which recognizes a partner that outperformed industry benchmarks in quality, efficiency, and cost containment. College Park was an early adopter of Hanger’s electronic data interchange program.
