Hanger, Austin, Texas, has announced Regina Weger has been promoted to president of SPS, its subsidiary headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, effective immediately.
Weger has been with SPS for more than 20 years, most recently serving in the role of vice president and general manager. Previously she was vice president of SPS sales and marketing. Weger started her career in customer service at SPS. She is a 2015 recipient of the J.E. Hanger Award for Leadership and was recently appointed to the board of directors of the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics for 2020.
Jay Wendt, who is currently president of products and services, will leave Hanger in December to pursue another opportunity.
Weger will report to Vinit Asar, Hanger president and CEO.
