Hanger, Austin, Texas, announced it has acquired HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D-printing technology at its fabrication network facility in Tempe, Arizona. Hanger and HP say they will work together to determine best uses for the manufacturing technology in current O&P processes and explore new, disruptive designs and solutions for the O&P profession.
“We believe 3D printing and automation will be important in the future of O&P, and we’re dedicating resources and talent to exploring these new possibilities,” said Vinit Asar, Hanger president and CEO.
