Donald Damon Johncour, CO, the founder of North Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics (NCOPI), passed away on February 23. He was 51 years old.
Johncour founded NCOPI in 2003; it now has five locations throughout the state.
“Damon will be deeply missed, leaving behind countless fond memories. His positivity was very admirable, even contagious,” said a statement on the company’s website. “All who had the privilege of working with him recognized his big heart, and his patients and employees were like family to him.”
Damon is survived by his wife, Cindy, and their three children.
