The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) issued a call for papers for its 20th World Congress being held June 16-19, 2025, in Stockholm, Sweden. Symposium or instructional course proposals are due by October 7. Free paper or poster abstracts are due by November 11.
The theme of the event is “Science in practice, practice in science: Collaboration and innovation towards sustainable rehabilitation.” The following keynote speakers have been confirmed:
- Han Houdijk, professor of clinical movement sciences, University Medical Center Groningen, University of Groningen, The Netherlands
- Chapal Khasnabis, senior advisor, assistive technology, Asian Development Bank, Switzerland
- Silvestro Micera, professor of bioelectronics, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy; and Bertarelli Foundation chair in translational neuroengineering, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland
- Paula Rushton, associate professor and director, School of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Health, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada
The International Confederation of Amputee Association (IC2A) Inspirational Lecture will be held by Christoffer Lindhe, Momentum Sweden, IC2A, Lindhe Xtend, Sweden.
